Alison Hoagland Named to Mackenzie Board of Directors

Hoagland, an architect and Principal at the firm, will proudly serve as Mackenzie’s first female architect board member.

She takes great pride in being a woman in the architectural profession and is honored to follow in the footsteps of the women who blazed trails in a male-dominated industry.

Hoagland joined Mackenzie in 2004, and has served in several leadership positions leading up to today, most recently as Architecture Department Head. Hoagland leads the firm’s Ecommerce team, and through the course of her career at Mackenzie has led project teams in a variety of market sectors, including retail, commercial, hospitality, educational, industrial, and public safety facilities. She has been instrumental in advancing sustainable design practices at Mackenzie, and helped develop the firm’s Building Science Committee. Beyond the firm, Hoagland is the Chair-elect of the Green Building Initiative, a global nonprofit organization that provides the Green Globes building certification program.
