Alison Hoagland Honored as a Woman of Vision

Alison has played an important role in several major projects, including as Mackenzie’s Principal-in-Charge in the design of a $4 billion advanced manufacturing facility in Kansas for the production of lithium-ion EV batteries. This project will be a critical new link in domestic battery production, will employ nearly 4,000 people, and has been touted by state officials as the most significant economic development project in state history.

Locally, Hoagland served as Project Manager for the urban renovation of Stadium Fred Meyer, located across from Providence Park in Portland, OR. This project re-imagined a cornerstone property of the neighborhood, and won many awards, including the 2015 DJC TopProjects Development of the Year—Editor’s Choice, and the AIA Portland Mayor’s Award for Design Excellence, among others.

Alison was also instrumental in the creation and leadership of Mackenzie’s innovative ecommerce business unit, which engaged early with the rapid growth of ecommerce logistics facilities.
