This wellness facility, designed for the Squaxin Island Tribe, offers a variety of vital functions for holistic treatment of community members. These include a medical clinic, behavioral health, a dental clinic, a pharmacy, space for health promotion and cooking, a physical therapy, and administrative space.
DESIGN DRIVERS
The facility is designed to foster wellbeing and collaboration.
The LEED Silver design features a Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) roof and open joists.
The site includes an herbal medicine garden, a behavioral health labyrinth, an activity area, and a drive through pharmacy, among other features.
The project includes infrastructure design and improvements on tribal roadways.
