This project, an occupied remodel, included grocery, general merchandise, and apparel departments. One of the primary goals was to provide modern and very visible entries, with enough height and light to be seen from busy streets in both the long days of summer and the long dark winter months. The store features a large mezzanine with seating and expansive windows, a fireplace, and elevated views in two directions.
DESIGN DRIVERS
The project opened up the interior, exposing the structure, and implemented an entirely new interior décor, signage, and graphics package.
Summer is peak tourist season, and minimizing impacts to sales was a major project driver of the project. We achieved timely and brand-consistent entitlements approval.
