Cedar Grove Playground is an inclusive space with a wealth of play experiences for kids of all abilities. Users enjoy a turf hill with an adaptive concrete slide, a wheelchair accessible swing and spinner, an adaptive bouncer, swings, log climbers, and tunnels.
Raised sensory gardens and planters, communal seating areas, an abundance of logs, boulders, existing trees, and art provide a sense of whimsy and welcome for all.
Harper's Playground established the conceptual design and then collaborated with Mackenzie to refine that design and to produce official plans.

Harper’s Playground is driven by the vision of a world in which everyone is included. They create playgrounds where people of all abilities connect through play and thrive.
"Most playgrounds aren’t designed for everybody— especially kids and families experiencing disability, and that’s a problem. Far too often, they leave these vital members of our communities on the sidelines. They’re inaccessible to caregivers. They lack nature. They don’t spark the imagination; even kids who can access them become quickly bored. Most of all, they don’t allow everyone to play together."
