The Park at Jennings Lodge brings the historic forested landscape of the Willamette River watershed to the neighborhood in this 2-acre park.

Mackenzie’s design, known as “Trails and Timbers” features an expansive tree canopy and a network of shady, winding pathways dotted with comfortable benches and moments of learning and exploration. This park allows children and adults of all ages to step out of the urban environment and back into the natural world.

The Park at Jennings Lodge features a dedicated preschool playground as well as an all-ages playground to provide unique play experiences for all kids that visit. With a core commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, kids of all abilities can climb, swing, spin and balance on natural wood and stone play elements.

The project team, led by North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District and Mackenzie, undertook an extensive community outreach process, engaging over 700 residents, to arrive at the preferred design.
